Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches

Pinellas County Sheriff’s Deputies will join over 35 children at the upcoming Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches Summer Camp.

The camp will be held from Sunday, July 13th through Friday, July 18th.

The camp is held at the Caruth Camp located at 14770 SE Highway 19 in Inglis, Florida (Levy County).

Pinellas County Sheriff’s Deputies are gearing up for a week of summer camp fun! Deputies will join over 35 boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 15 years old at the upcoming Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch Summer Camp.

The summer camp is held at the Caruth Camp located at 14770 SE Highway 19 in Inglis, Florida (Levy County). The camp will begin on Sunday, July 13 and campers will return Friday, July 18th.

The camp is a voluntary program whose goals are to provide campers with the opportunity to try new activities, learn new skills and make new friends.

Deputies act as youth leaders and mentors to the campers throughout the week. The camp will provide participants a positive experience with deputy sheriffs as they interact in work and recreational activities to include Arts and Crafts, Archery, Nature Hikes, Sports, Water Safety and more.

The camp also strives to teach campers valuable teamwork skills through group living, group decision making and teamwork exercises.

Media is welcome to join us to welcome the campers back home on Friday, July 18th. The bus will return from Inglis between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The bus will drop campers off at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Administration Building located at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo.
