Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Deputy, Kurt Frazho, will be awarded the 2014 Pinellas County School Resource Deputy of the Year at an upcoming ceremony.

Deputy Frazho will be awarded School Resource Deputy of the Year during the school board meeting held on June 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.

Where:
The award ceremony will be held at the Pinellas County School Board Administration Building located at 301 4th Street SW in Largo.

Why/How:
Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Deputy, Kurt Frazho, will be awarded the 2014 Pinellas County School Resource Deputy of the Year at an upcoming ceremony. Deputy Frazho will receive the award during a school board meeting held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Pinellas County School Board Administration Building located at 301 4th Street SW in Largo.

Deputy Kurt Frazho started his career with the Sheriff’s Office in January of 2006. Deputy Frazho has been a School Resource Deputy at East Lake High School for the past four years of his career.

Below is an excerpt from Deputy Frazho’s nomination letter to the school board:

“Over the past four years, Deputy Kurt Frazho has demonstrated extraordinary dedication to duty and performance as a School Resource Officer assigned to East Lake High School. Deputy Frazho is a man to be respected. Not because he carries a badge, but because he respects the badge he carries. There are three words within the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics that are representative of the way in which Kurt Frazho conducts his job and himself. These words are Integrity, Courage and Duty.”

“Duty is a moral or legal obligation or responsibility. Deputy Frazho has sworn an oath to serve and protect the citizens of Pinellas County and most importantly the students and staff at East Lake High. He is a consummate team player and this is witnessed in his strong ability and willingness to assist others. To ensure a safe learning environment, he works closely with administrators, often putting his own work aside to do so.”

“Deputy Frazho should be commended for his outstanding service and exceptional display of investigative expertise.”
