The victim is a 17-year-old female who is not known to the suspect. Per Fl. Statute, 119.071(2)(h)1 no further information will be released that would tend to identify the victim.

What:

Detectives have arrested a transient for one count of Exposure of Sexual Organs and one count of Violation of Probation Lewd & Lascivious Behavior.

 When:

The incident occurred while the victim was walking to school at approximately 8:00 AM.

 Where:

The crime occurred on South Arcturas Avenue North of Gulf to Bay.

Why/How:

On June 2, 1014 Detectives arrested a Largo man for one count of Exposure of Sexual Organs and one count of Violation of Probation Lewd & Lascivious Behavior.

Detectives made contact with a female victim who advised a male had exposed his sexual organs to her in the area of South Arcturas Avenue North of Gulf to Bay. Through various investigative techniques the subject was identified as 34 year old Jason Newsome.

Newsome is believed to approach females who are walking and asks them for directions. Detectives believe there may be other victims in the area. Newsome has been driving a new white Ford Fusion, a new black Ford Fusion and an older model black Chevrolet Cavalier.
