The victims are two females who are now 17 and 18 years old. The incidents occurred when one female victim was 16-years-old and when the other female victim was between the ages of 10 to 18-years-old. Per Fl. Statute, no further information will be released that would tend to identify the victims.

Detectives have arrested a Palm Harbor man for 2 counts of sexual battery after he sexually abuse two victims who were known to him.

The incidents occurred on multiple occasions when one victim was 16-years of age and when the second victim was between the ages 10 and 18. The victims are now 17-years old and 18-years-old.

The crime occurred at a private residence.

Deputies were contacted on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 after one of the victim’s disclosed to her mother that the suspect had sexually abused her when she was 16-years-old. When detectives made contact with the victim it became known that the suspect had done this to another female victim known to him. The second victim told detectives that the suspect has sexually abused her on multiple occasions since she was 10-years-old. She is now 18-years-old.

Detectives identified the suspect as 43-year-old John Gerald Wilson. Wilson was arrested for two counts of sexual battery on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at approximately 10:25 p.m.

Wilson was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.

The investigation continues.
