The 2nd Annual Holiday Shoot 2013 took place in Pinellas County, Florida.

 Why/How:
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 900 recently participated in the 2nd Annual Holiday Shoot 2013 on Sunday, December 29, 2013. The shooting competition was held at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Shooting Range. Explorers representing Posts from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Tampa Police Department and the St. Petersburg Police Department were also present for the competition.

The 2nd Annual Holiday Shoot 2013 was made up of various events and the Explorers were able to compete on an individual basis, team shoot and advisor shoot-out. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 900 took 1st place in all categories.

In the individual competition, six Explorers from Post 900 took home awards and were placed as follows: 1st place, Kelly Butterfield, 4th place Spencer Shaw, 5th place Kristine Crooks, 6th place Max Dulski, 9th place Luke Baker and 10th place Lauren Paschell.

In the team competition, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 900 took 1st place overall.

In the advisor competition, Deputy Jim Butterfield and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office took 1st place overall.
