13-271 Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance In Identifying Lottery Ticket Theft Suspect

What:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a lottery ticket theft suspect who stole lottery tickets from an Oldsmar convenience store.

When:
The theft occurred on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at approximately 2:52 a.m.

Where:
The theft occurred at the 7-Eleven store located at 3855 Tampa Road in Oldsmar.

Why/How:
According to detectives, on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at approximately 2:52 a.m. the suspect entered the 7-Eleven store located at 3855 Tampa Road in Oldsmar.  The suspect was observed reaching over the counter while the clerk was making coffee. The suspect stole multiple “high dollar” scratch-off lottery tickets and then exited the store.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s, approximately 5’07” tall and is completely bald. He was last seen wearing glasses, a white and black stripped polo shirt and dark pants.

The investigation continues.
