Deputies have advised that Charles J. Urban was located safe and sound. Deputies say he reportedly entered a Palm Harbor Pizzeria and told the personnel that he was lost. The personnel contacted law enforcement. Deputies responded and are in the process of reuniting Urban with his family.

Deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing elderly man.

The man has been missing since about 10:15 a.m. on December 10, 2013.

The man is missing from his private residence located at 1534 Bering Court in Palm Harbor.

According to deputies, 89-year-old Charles Joseph Urban told his wife on the morning of December 10th that he was going to Publix. He left in his vehicle, a silver 2011 Ford Edge, bearing Florida tag 724JCW.  As of the early evening hours of December 10th,  Mr. Urban had not returned home.

Deputies say the couple had moved into the home in Palm Harbor just two days ago and that Mr. Urban was unfamiliar with the area.

Mr. Urban has been entered as missing into the FCIC/NCIC data base.

Mr. Urban is described as 6’2″ tall, weighing 140 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and faded jeans.

Anyone with information that may assist deputies in locating Mr. Urban is urged to call their local law enforcement or 911.
