What:
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant earlier this week which led to the arrest of a suspected drug dealer.

When:
Tuesday, 12/3/2013

Where:
6890 46th Lane North
Pinellas Park, FL.

Why/How:
After a three month investigation the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, along with the assistance of the Pinellas Park Police Department, ATF,  and St. Petersburg Police Department, obtained a search warrant of suspected drug dealer Patrick Kerr’s residence.

Upon execution of the search warrant detectives found several illegal items and hazardous conditions inside.  Kerr’s residence, also occupied by two small children had multiple guns and narcotics out in plain view, easily accessible to anyone in the household.

Several of the items seized are believed to have been stolen.

Kerr has multiple drug arrests dating back to 2001 and a history of threats of violence against law enforcement.

During the search warrant, Kerr was arrested and charged with:

Warrant – Felon in Possession of a Firearm

Armed Trafficking in Hydromorphone

Felon in Possession of a Firearm (2X)

Dealing in Stolen Property

Child Abuse (2X)

Possession of Marijuana

Possession of Crack Cocaine

Possession of Methylenedioxymethcathinone

Grand Theft

This investigation is still ongoing and additional charges are possible.
