The victim is a 14-year-old female who is known to the female suspect. Per Florida Statute 119.071(2)(h)1, no further information will be released that would tend to identify the victim.

Detectives have arrested two suspects in connection to human trafficking of a juvenile victim.

The two suspects were arrested at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Administration Building located at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo.

The two suspects were arrested on Thursday, November 7, 2013.

Detectives assigned to the Special Victims Unit have arrested two individuals in connection to human trafficking of a juvenile victim. On November 4, 2013 the 14-year-old victim disclosed to detectives that the female suspect arranged for her to engage in sexual activity with an adult male for money. The victim advised that on October 25, 2013 the female suspect told her she was having a male visitor come to her home, the victim was to have sex with him and collect money from him when they were done.

Through their investigation, the two suspects were identified as 60-year-old Wanda Ann Ringgo and 25 –year-old Mohand Rashid. On November 6, 2013 a search warrant was obtained and was served at Ringgo’s residence on November 7, 2013.

Both suspects agreed to meet with detectives at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Administration Building located at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo on November 7, 2013.

Rashid admitted to the allegations and was arrested and charged with 1 count of Lewd & Lascivious Battery.

Ringgo was not cooperative with detectives during the interview. Ringgo was arrested and charged with 1 count Human Trafficking involving a minor under 15 years of age.

The investigation continues.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is a member of the Central Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
