13-209 Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance Identifying A St. Petersburg Grand Theft Suspect

What:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft suspect who stole a purse from a St. Petersburg tavern.

When:
The theft occurred on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at approximately 11:32 p.m.

Where:
The theft occurred at the Boardwalk Tavern located at 2600 54th Avenue in St. Petersburg.

Why/How:
According to detectives, on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at approximately 11:32 p.m. the suspect entered the Boardwalk Tavern located at 2600 54th Avenue in St. Petersburg. The suspect stole the victim’s purse while inside the establishment. The suspect was seen with two other people, a male and female, while in the bar.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’0” tall, medium build with a crew cut style haircut, wearing a black t-shirt and jean shorts.

The investigation continues.
