13-199 Detectives Seek Public’s Help To Identify Oldsmar Gas Theft Suspect

Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Gas Theft Suspect who stole fuel from a gas station in Oldsmar.

The theft occurred on Friday August, 30, 2013 at approximately 12:37 a.m.

The theft occurred at the Circle K gas station located at 3170 Tampa Road in Oldsmar.

According to detectives, on Friday, August, 30, 2013 at approximately 12:37 a.m. four vehicles stole fuel from a Circle K gas station located at 3170 Tampa Road in Oldsmar. The suspect was observed getting out of a pickup truck and beginning to pump gas. After filling up one vehicle, the suspect is seen pulling the hose to another vehicle and filling up. The suspect then returned to his truck, pulled away and two more trucks pulled in. The suspect then walked over to the two trucks and pumped their gas. Once he was finished, all four of the vehicles left the gas station.

The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male. He was last seen wearing a white hat, a white short sleeved t-shirt and blue jean shorts. There is no description on the other drivers.

The vehicles used during the thefts are three pickup trucks red, silver and dark blue or black in color. The fourth vehicle is a dark blue or black 4-door sedan.
