13-150 Detectives Seek Public’s Help To Identify Palm Harbor Walmart Grand Theft Suspect

Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft suspect who stole from a Walmart Store in Palm Harbor.

The theft occurred on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at approximately 11:25 p.m.

The theft occurred at the Walmart store located at 35404 U.S. Highway 19 North in Palm Harbor.

According to detectives, on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at approximately 11:25 p.m. the suspect entered the Walmart store located at 35404 U.S. Highway 19, North in Palm Harbor. The suspect stole two 39” LCD HDTV’s. The suspect exited the store and loaded the televisions into the bed of a dark colored pickup truck, possibly a Ford 150.

The suspect then jumped into the bed of the truck, leaving the tailgate down. As the driver of the truck fled the parking lot, the suspect fell out of the bed of the truck. The suspect was able to get up, jump into the truck bed and the driver left the area. It is unknown if the suspect was injured.

The suspect is described as a middle aged white male, bald on top with salt and pepper close cut hair on the sides. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with the words “Aero California Riders” on the front.

The investigation continues.
