The Silver Alert issued last evening for 82-year-old Nancy Jean Villandry has been cancelled.

Deputies advise that Ms. Villandry was located in a rest area at mile marker 307 in Sumter County; and is safe and uninjured.

Deputies say that the persons who reported her missing are on their way to pick her up and return her home.

What:
A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing and endangered Seminole woman. Anyone with information that may assist in locating her is asked to contact their local law enforcement.

When:
She was reported missing at about 9:28 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2013.

Where:
She was reported missing from her home located at Freedom Square ALF in Seminole.

Why/How:
According to deputies 82-year-old Nancy Jean Villandry was last seen at about 10:00 a.m. on June 24th, 2013 at the Freedom Square Assisted Living Facility. Personnel at Freedom Square told deputies that it was not unusual for Ms. Villandry to take her vehicle to run errands or attend appointments; but they became concerned when she did not return home; and reported her missing at about 9:28 p.m. the same day.

Deputies were advised that Ms. Villandry suffers from dementia and a heart ailment, requiring medications, which she may not have with her. She also does not have a cell phone with her.

Deputies have searched the area and locations she is known to frequent but have been unable to locate her.

Villandry was entered into NCIC and FCIC as missing and endangered; and a Silver Alert has been issued.

Ms. Villandry is 5’4″ tall;  and weighs about 90 lbs. She  has blue eyes and white, collar length hair. No description of her clothing is available.

She was driving a Sports Utility Vehicle – a silver 2003 RAV4 with FL tag M470RW.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ms. Villandry is asked to please contact their local law enforcement.
