What:
Deputies are investigating the death of a Belleair Bluffs man, who was apparently accidentally electrocuted while doing electrical work in his attic. The incident does not appear to be suspicious in nature.

When:
Deputies responded to the incident at about 7:43 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013.

Where:
The incident occurred at a private residence located at 2433 Duncan Drive in Belleair Bluffs.

Why/How:
According to deputies, Urszula Drapala had not seen her husband for about an hour, when she began calling for him. When he did not respond, she climbed to the attic to discover her husband, 45-year old Andrzej Drapala, unresponsive. She called 911. Largo Fire Department responded to the scene and transported him to Largo Medical where he was pronounced deceased.

Deputies say the death appears to be accidental in nature and appears to have occurred while Drapala was doing electrical work in his attic.

Deputie say Drapala had burn marks on one of his hands and chest.

The investigation continues.
