Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in an armed robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank in the unincorporated area of Largo.
The robbery occurred at approximately 9:41 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
The robbery occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank, 8700 Bryan Dairy Road in unincorporated Largo.
According to detectives, at around 9:41 a.m. on April 23, 2013 the suspect walked into the Wells Fargo Bank armed with a handgun. The suspect pointed the gun at two bank employees and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’2” – 6’3” tall, roughly 190 lbs, muscular build, wearing a white jacket, a baseball cap, a mask over his face, dark pants and dark colored tennis shoes.
The investigation continues.
