***Update 04/10/2013 Missing Man Found*** 13-070 Deputies Seek Public’s Help In Locating Elderly Man Missing From Assisted Living Facility In Unincorporated St. Petersburg

In the early morning hours of April 10, 2013, deputies located a missing elderly man. Charles A. Born was found uninjured and taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Mr. Born is a white male, about 5’8″ tall, about 150 pounds with an average build. He has short receding gray hair.  He was last seen wearing a long sleeve orange button down shirt with a blue under shirt and khaki pants.

What:
Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating an elderly man who walked away from an assisted living facility at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Where:
 The ALF is located at : 3479 54th Avenue North (Bristol Court Assisted Living Facility) unincorporated St. Petersburg

When:

The missing man is believed to have walked away from the ALF at about 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013.

How/Why:
Deputies were called to the Bristol Court Assisted Living Facility on April 9, 2013. The complainant advised that 80-year-old Charles A. Born was missing and had not been seen since about 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Born has been entered into NCIC/FCIC database as missing and endangered due to his having stage 1 dementia.

Mr. Born is a white male, about 5’8″ tall, about 150 pounds with an average build. He has short receding gray hair.  He was last seen wearing a long sleeve orange button down shirt with a blue under shirt and khaki pants.

Deputies are asking that anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Born please contact their local law enforcement.
