13-053 Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Lealman Business Fire

What:
Detectives assigned to the Arson and Auto Theft Division are investigating a business fire in the Lealman area.

When:
Deputies responded to the fire around 2:30a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013.

Where:
Smokin Ciggy’s 5650 66th Street North, St. Petersburg

How/Why:
According to detectives, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a structure fire at Smokin Ciggys (5650 66th Street North, St. Petersburg) on Monday, 3/25/13 at approximately 2:30a.m.

At this time, detectives assigned to the Arson/Auto Theft Division are currently investigating the fire.

During the incident, the building’s roof collapsed and there is said to be about $150,000 in damage.

No injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.

The investigation continues.
