The 19th Annual “Ride & Run With The Stars” is a holiday fundraiser benefit
ing the Sheriff’s Christmas Sharing Project which provides food, clothing and toys to disadvantaged children, crime victims and families in need.
“Ride & Run With The Stars” is set for Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Fort DeSoto Park. Events start at 8:00 a.m., and Registration will be open at 7:00 a.m.
There are cycling, running and walking events, as well as a silent auction, a climbing wall, Sheriff’s Office displays, food, Christmas crafts for the kids, giveaways and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus who arrive at the Fort by the Sheriff’s helicopter.
Participants also have a chance to win high quality bicycles and sports equipment.
Registration is $25. Registered participants receive a long-sleeve logo shirt, food, and giveaways. Kids accompanied by registered adults are free!

The family fun event is Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Fort DeSoto Park in south Pinellas County. All activities will be staged from The Fort picnic area. Registration opens at 7:00 a.m., with events starting at 8:00 a.m.
Proceeds benefit the Sheriff’s Christmas Sharing Project. Sheriff’s Office members will shop for the items on wish lists submitted by approved applicants.
