Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association BungalowFest Gala –


What:      Each year the Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association (HKNA) hosts a Gala showcasing the art, architecture and eateries of the Kenwood community in St. Petersburg. A percentage of the proceeds support local charities and community programs.

This year the Sheriff’s Pinellas Safe Harbor jail diversion program and shelter has been selected by the HKNA to receive a portion of the Gala proceeds.


When:        The 2012 Bungalow Fest Gala is set for Saturday night, October 27th from 6:00-10:00 p.m.

Where:        The event takes place in the 2500 block of Dartmouth Ave. in St. Petersburg.

Why/How:  Tickets are $40 per person either online at, at the Craftsman House at 2955 Central Ave., or on the night of the event.

In the notification to Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, HKNA President Paul Dickens said, “This year we decided to select three organizations that serve our neighborhood in a positive way. We are very thankful for the work you all have done in making this shelter (Pinellas Safe Harbor) a reasonable alternative and would like to help support it in this small way.”

The other two programs selected were Suncoast Hospice Foundation and Pinellas County Job Corps.
