Deputies have released a photo of the suspect vehicle in the hit and run crash that injured Barbara Gaymore of Dunedin. This is a still frame of a video taken from a PSTA bus that was in the area at the time of the hit and run. The suspect vehicle is the white truck with the extended cab in the top right hand corner of the frame. Deputies say the original video captures the pick up truck following the crash.
M.A.I.T. deputies say the pick-up truck was heading northbound on Starkey and then turned eastbound on 94th Avenue.

Deputies have updated the information on the description of the vehicle involved in the hit and run that seriously injured 76-year-old Barbara Gaymore.
Deputies say the vehicle may possibly be a white Ford Ranger with an extended cab. It is believed to have front right side damage.

Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle that struck an elderly woman and fled the scene. Deputies say a blue suitcase being pulled by the victim may be have become lodged in the grill or undercarriage of the suspect’s vehicle.
The hit and run occurred at about 1:50 p.m. on October 10, 2012.
The hit and run occurred at Starkey Road just north of Park Boulevard in Seminole.
According to deputies, 76-year-old Barbara L. Gaymore was crossing Starkey Road just north of Park Boulevard (in front of Perkins Restaurant). Deputies say as she crossed pulling a blue suitcase, she was struck by a northbound traveling vehicle. Gaymore was thrown to the ground. The vehicle fled the scene.
Gaymore was transported to Bayfront Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries. Gaymore sustained an injury to her head, some fractures and various abrasions to her legs and knees.
According to deputies, the blue suitcase being pulled by the victim, may have became lodged in the grill or the undercarriage of the suspect vehicle. Parts of the suitcase were found at the scene.
