Detectives have arrested a man for four-counts attempted first degree murder and one-count first degree arson in connection with a Largo residential fire.

The suspect was arrested late afternoon on Wednesday, September 26, 2012.

The fire occurred on Sunday September 16, 2012.

The fire occurred at a private residence located at 1801 South Lake Avenue in Largo.

Detectives say during the course of the investigation, they developed information that 29-year-old Thomas Cservak committed an arson at the Largo home.

Detectives say details of the arson are not releasable at this time. They can only say that the fire was intentionally set as a result of a domestic related situation.

Cservak was arrested on September 26th during a traffic stop at Highland and Drew in Clearwater. He was transported to the Pinellas County Jail, arrested for four counts attempted first degree murder and one count first degree arson.

Two adults and one child were in the home at the time the fire was set. None were injured. (For further details – see release # 12-209).
