Detectives assigned to the Arson and Auto Theft Unit are investigating a residential fire at a private residence in Largo. Three people were in the home, including one child. All exited the residence safely.
Deputies responded to the fire at about 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2012.
The fire occurred at a private residence located at 1801 S. Lake Avenue in Largo.
According to detectives, 20 year-old Faith Ann Ferry and 18 year-old Taylor M. Rafferty were caring for 4-year-old Allison J. Cservak in the home.
Deputies say the three were sleeping, when they were awakened by a crashing noise and discovered a fire in the front of the home. All three exited safely.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
The investigation continues.
