12-185 Pinellas County Deputies Seek The Public’s Help In Locating An Armed Robbery Suspect

Gray, possible Chrysler make
with tinted windows

What:  On Saturday, 7/28/12 at approximately 3:20 p.m. a B/M suspect attempted to rob the store owner of D&S Bicycle Shop (Daniel Lee Block) with a hand gun.

When:  Saturday, 7/28/12 at approximately 3:20 p.m.


On Saturday, 7/28/12 at approximately 3:20 p.m. a B/M suspect attempted to rob the store owner of D&S Bicycle Shop (Daniel Lee Block) with a hand gun.

As Block stood outside his business, an unknown B/M suspect approached him while shoving a handgun in Block’s stomach.  The suspect demanded Block give him his wallet.  A struggle ensued and Block was struck in the head several times with the handgun.

The B/M suspect is described as approximately 18-25 years of age, 5’09″, weighing about 160lbs.  He was wearing a black shirt with dark shorts and a white baseball hat.

The suspect eventually fled the scene without getting any of Block’s belongings.

It is believed the suspect fled the scene in a grey vehicle (possibly a Chrysler 300) with dark purple tinted windows and a sunroof, traveling east.
