A missing Oldsmar woman (Florence Emma Murray) has returned home.  Deputies responded to her residence on June 14, 2012 at approximately 8:30 a.m. after family members called the Sheriff’s Office to report that she had been located.

Murray informed responding deputies that she went to Ocala with the intentions of visiting friends.  She eventually decided to return home.

 She was found to be in good health and uninjured.

Deputies are seeking the public’s help to locate a missing and endangered elderly Oldsmar woman. A Silver Alert has been issued for 83-year-old Florence Emma Murray.

Ms. Murray was last seen at about 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012.

Ms. Murray was last seen leaving her residence located at 110 Ashley Lane in Oldsmar.

According to deputies, 83 year old Florence Emma Murray was last seen leaving her residence to go to lunch at an unknown Oldsmar restaurant. Ms. Murray left her home in a four door, silver, 2004 Ford Taurus with license plate FL 484WQE.

Her daughter reported her missing when several hours passed and she did not return home. Deputies began investigating the case at about 5:19 p.m. on the 13th of June.

Murray was entered into the FCIC/NCIC database. Deputies say she is endangered as she may have the onset of dementia; and may not have the medications she needs for her well being.

At about 8:30 p.m. on the 13th, deputies received further information from the missing woman’s daughter that Ms. Murray’s had used a credit card to purchase gas in Ocala. BOLO information was extended to North Florida law enforcement agencies and to the Florida Highway Patrol.

At 1:09 a.m. on June 14th, another gas credit card purchase was tracked at a Hess Station at State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel. BOLO information was provided to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

A Silver Alert has also been issued for Ms. Murray. She is 83 years of age, 5’1″ tall, 120 pounds. She has green eyes, short, curly gray hair, a fair complexion and a thin build. She was last wearing black and white shorts, color of shirt is unknown. Murray is believed to be driving her Ford Taurus (description of vehicle is listed above).

Anyone with information that would assist deputies in locating Florence Emma Murray is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.
