Sheriff’s Robbery/Homicide detectives have arrested a suspect in the early morning home invasion at the residence of Robert and Paula Babcock, located in Dunedin.

When:  The arrest occurred Friday night, June 1, 2012.

Where:  The arrest occurred without incident in the vicinity of North Greenwood and Myrtle in Clearwater.

Why/How: Detectives say the Babcocks are recovering from their injuries received during the home invasion. Information was developed that Austin at one time had done odd jobs around the Babcock’s home. Detectives say there are other possible suspects in this case. Anyone having any information on this case or the other suspects is asked to contact the Sherioff’s Robbery/Homicide Unit, at 582-6200, or to remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
