12-126 Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri Announces Promotions; Members To Receive New Stars And Credentials At Promotion Ceremony

Who:   Sheriff Bob Gualtieri – Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office

What:  On Friday, May 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri will host a promotions presentation. The promotion group consists of 1 Captain, 3 Lieutenants, and 7 Sergeants. Family and colleagues of the promoted members are invited to attend the ceremony.

Where:  The promotion ceremony will be held in the Magnolia Room of the Pinellas County Cooperative Extension complex.

When:  The promotion presentation is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012.

How/Why:  The following members will receive their new stars and credentials at a special ceremony scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012.

Lieutenant Paul Halle appointed to Captain, Patrol Operations Bureau.

Sergeant Tim Karamihalis promoted to Lieutenant, Patrol Operations Bureau.

Sergeant Jack Peterson promoted to Lieutenant, Patrol Operations Bureau.

Sergeant Darrell Spiva promoted to Lieutenant, Detention and Corrections Bureau.

Acting Sergeant Rob Snipes promoted to Sergeant, Homicide/Robbery Unit, Investigative Operations Bureau.

Acting Sergeant Tony Stephens promoted to Sergeant, Administrative Investigations Division, Inspections Bureau.

Corporal Rafael Albert promoted to Sergeant and assigned to Court Security.

Corporal Randy Corlett promoted to Sergeant, Patrol Operations Bureau.

Corporal Heather Thompson promoted to Sergeant, Patrol Operations Bureau.

Deputy John Miller promoted to Sergeant, Patrol Operations Bureau.

Detective John Spoor promoted to Sergeant, assigned to Administrative Investigations Division, Inspections Bureau.
