Pinellas County Detectives have arrested a Palm Harbor man for procuring juvenile females for prostitution.

James Garrett Perdue was arrested yesterday (5/23/12) for the following charges:

-Procuring Person Under 18 For Prostitution – Felony – Bond $10,000
-Possession of Methamphetamine – Felony – Bond $2,000
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor – Bond $150.00

Earlier this month, Crimes Against Children Detectives began receiving complaints that Perdue was harboring runaways and providing them with alcohol and drugs.

Through their investigation, detectives developed information that Perdue was assisting juveniles engaged in prostitution.

On 5/23/12, detectives served a search warrant at Perdue’s residence and found evidence linking him to the above charges.

He was subsequently arrested.
