Victim – The victim was a female under 12 years of age at the time the crime was committed.  The suspect and the victim are known to each other. Per FL Statute 119.071(2)h1, no further information will be released that would tend to identify the victim.

What:  Pinellas County Detectives have arrested a Clearwater man for Lewd and Lascivious Molestation

When:  The offense occurred approximately three years ago.

How/Why:  

Pinellas County Detectives have arrested a Clearwater man for Lewd and Lascivious Molestation of a child under twelve.

Detective Mark Kolenda began an investigation into allegations of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation when an eleven year old female victim disclosed that she was touched by her friend’s father during a sleepover approximately three years ago.

The suspect is alleged to have touched the victim in a lascivious manner.

The suspect was arrested by Detectives on 4/26/12 at 5:30 p.m. at Gator Lake Park in Safety Harbor.

Further investigation regarding Cavaliere revealed that he has previous charges of child pornography as well.
