What:  Deputies are investigating a three vehicle crash that occurred at Lake Seminole Park. One person was injured in the crash.

Where:  The crash occurred at Lake Seminole Park located at 10015 Park Boulevard. (The crash occurred on Park Boulevard just west of the Lake Seminole Park entrance.)

When:  The crash occurred at about 12:28 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012.

According to deputies, 33-year-old Adam Harder was driving a Dodge Ram westbound on Park Boulevard in the median lane at a high rate of speed. Deputies say that as Harder passed the entrance to Lake Seminole Park, he rear-ended a Ford Mustang being driven by 62-year-old Dusica Batanjski, also headed westbound in the median lane, and pushed it off the road. The Mustang came to rest between Park Boulevard and edge of Lake Seminole.

Deputies say the Dodge truck then swerved towards the curb and hit a Jeep driven by 36-year-old Lyndsie Galizio and occupied by passengers 63-year-old Marjorie Galizio and 86-year-old Margaret Rolfs; the Dodge then continued on – hit the curb, rolled down the embankment and landed upside down in Lake Seminole – about 20 feet from shore. Harder was uninjured and crawled out out of the vehicle through his open driver’s window.

Lyndsie Galizio was transported by ambulance to St. Pete General for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Harder was cited for careless driving, DWLSR and no proof of insurance.

The investigation continues.
