What:
In an effort to reduce DUI related injuries and save lives, Pinellas County deputies conducted a DUI checkpoint over the weekend. Results are listed below.

Where:
The sobriety checkpoint was conducted at 29582 U.S. 19 North in Clearwater (Parking lot of Pinellas County North County Traffic Court) .

When:
The checkpoint was held between 10:00 p.m. on March 16th and 2:00 a.m. on March 17th.

How/Why:
The goal of the sobriety checkpoint was to raise awareness that will help reduce injuries and save lives; as well as enforce the Sheriff’s Office zero-tolerance for drinking and driving/drug consumption and driving.

Checkpoint results for March 16-17, 2012 at 29582 US Hwy 19 (North County Traffic Court) are as follows:
