What:  Corrections Recruit Class #81 will graduate from the St. Petersburg College Corrections Academy.

The recruits are new hires for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Where:  The graduation will be held at the St. Petersburg College Allstate Center, Florida Room.

When:  The graduation is set for 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012.

How/Why: 

31 Detention Deputy Recruits will receive their badges during a graduation ceremony to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the St. Petersburg College Allstate Center.

The recruits are new hires for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Detention and Corrections Bureau, and were sponsored by the Sheriff’s Office for their training.

All 31 recruits hired and who began the Academy training program -successfully completed the training and will be graduating. The recruits completed a total of 576 hours of training, which is beyond the 552 hours required by the state for graduation.
