Deputies have arrested a Tarpon Springs man in connection with an armed robbery and aggravated assault at a Walgreen's Pharmacy Store in Oldsmar. The robbery occurred at about 11:44 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at a Walgreen's Pharmacy Store located at 3770 Tampa Road in Oldsmar.

According to deputies, the suspect entered the store, displayed a weapon and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied and the suspect exited the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Outside the store, a customer began to chase the suspect on foot. The suspect turned around and threatened the store customer with the gun. The customer then retreated and the suspect fled the scene in vehicle.

Another witness followed the suspect in another vehicle just long enough to obtain a license plate number. 

Deputies were able to trace the suspect to his neighborhood subdivision in Tarpon Spring, where deputies conducted a traffic stop and arrested the suspect without further incident. 

The suspect identified as 32-year-old Ryan A Stanley was arrested for armed robbery and aggravated assault and transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
