Pinellas Sheriff's Advisory Board Hosts Fundraiser For Youth Programs With A Wild Game Dinner & Turkey Shoot

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Advisory Board:
A volunteer membership group dedicated to providing financial support to the Pinellas County Sheriff's youth programs and other Pinellas area youth programs.

What:  The Pinellas Sheriff's Advisory Board in conjunction with the Wyoming Antelope Club is hosting a "Wild Game Dinner & Turkey Shoot" as a fundraiser to support the Sheriff's youth programs like the Explorers, the Sheriff's Police Athletic League (PAL) and others.

Tickets are $15 per Adult, and $5 for Children age 10 and under.

Participants will enjoy a wild game dinner - or chicken for the "less adventurous" - and a chance to test their marksmanship skills in a "Turkey Shoot" target competition. Participants may use the firearm of their choice when shooting at the paper competition target sheets. All activities will be managed by NRA certified firearms instructors.

Where:  The event will take place at the Wyoming Antelope Club, located at 3700 126th Avenue, Clearwater.

When:  The Wild Game Dinner and Turkey Shoot is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2009.

How/Why:  

Enjoy a fall family day of good food and activities at the Pinellas Sheriff's Wild Game Dinner and Turkey Shoot.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2009, at the Wyoming Antelope Club, located at 3700 126th Avenue in Clearwater.

The Sheriff's Advisory Board is coordinating the occasion, and proceeds from the event will support the Sheriff's Explorer Post 900, the Sheriff's Police Athletic League and other Pinellas area youth programs.
 
In addition to sampling a variety of specially prepared wild game, participants will also be able to test their marksmanship skills under the careful eyes of NRA certified firearms instructors.

The times are as follows:

Turkey Shoot: 
3:00-5:00 p.m.
One shot is $5.00 - Award to Best Shot
Pistols are 5 shots for $5.00; use the caliber of your choice.

Wild Game Dinner:
5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
(Chicken for the "less adventurous")

Admission tickets are $15 per Adult, and $5 for Children age 10 and under. Please make checks payable to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
