The suspect is described as a white male, 50-60 year of age, He is about 5'6" to 5'8" tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve white shirt with writing on it, light colored shorts and sandals.
What: Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are investigating an armed robbery at a Walgreen's Pharmacy store.
Where: The armed robbery occurred at the Walgreen's located at 674 Welch Causeway in Madeira Beach.
When: Deputies responded to the armed robbery at about 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2009.
How/Why: Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are investigating an armed robbery at a Walgreen's Pharmacy store. Deputies responded to the armed robbery at about 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at the Walgreen's located at 674 Welch Causeway in Madeira Beach.
According to detectives, the suspect entered the store, approached the clerk, told the victim he was armed and displayed a handgun. The clerk complied with the demand and the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
