No appointment is necessary. We accept cash and checks. Individuals interested in having fingerprints taken (at the request of the potential employer) should bring with him/her the fingerprint card provided by the prospective employer. The card has coding on it to direct results back to that employer. The PCSO does not provide these cards. Do not sign this card in advance and be sure to use black ink when filling out the card. You will also need to bring a photo ID. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office does not provide this service for immigration and naturalization purposes. You need to contact the Department of Immigration and Naturalization to find out where to get your fingerprints taken. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office does provide electronic fingerprinting for pistol licenses and name change applications for the Pinellas County Clerk of the Court. The service is provided for $10.00 in addition to the required fees for the license that must be paid by credit card online. More information will be provided to you when you get your fingerprints taken. We are off 49th Street on 145th Avenue North, which is between the south end of the Bayside Bridge and Ulmerton Road, and near Bayside High School, which is one block north of the traffic light at the Criminal Courts Complex.
