School crossing guards are hired part-time during the school year and are placed at high-frequency intersections throughout Pinellas County. A great opportunity for retirees and stay-at-home parents, school crossing guards:

• Work only the 180-day school calendar
• Do not work summers or school holidays 
• Receive uniforms, equipment, and training
• Are paid $22/hour, 2 hours a day, split shifts
