Mission Statement.   
Our pets are part of our family and when they are lost, a part of us is lost as well. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office created a website that is available to enter a lost or found animal without delay. “PCSO C.A.R.E.S ” (Pinellas County Animal Rescue and Entry System) site is available 24 hours a day. With the implementation of this site it is our hope that the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office can help reunite a beloved pet with its family. We thank you for visiting our site and hope that this site will be a valuable tool to assist in the recovery of your pet.
Posting Lost and Found Pets.     
Posting or listing a lost or found pet at PCSO C.A.R.E.S does not guarantee that you will find your lost pet or the original owners. PCSO C.A.R.E.S is a tool to help expand the scope of your search. We take no responsibility for errors created when posting a lost pet or found pet.
If you choose to provide us with personal information by filling out the Pinellas CARES forms, please be advised that we only share that information as provided by law. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office does not collect information for commercial marketing. Visitors to the site should be aware that the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office abides by Florida Public Records Statute 119 which provides that all state, county and municipal records shall be open for public inspection, unless otherwise exempted from disclosure by statute.
