The members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office take great pride in providing progressive, professional, and cost-effective law enforcement services to our residents and visitors. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office provides patrol and investigative services; operates the Pinellas County Jail; security for our courts; School Resource Deputies in the Sheriff’s primary service area; and a variety of opportunities for citizens to volunteer with our organization.
Countywide services include sexual predator and offender tracking, Child Protection Investigation, prisoner transportation, marine patrol services and helicopter support for all Pinellas law enforcement agencies.
We have taken the lead in battling the illegal sale of prescription drugs and have received national attention for our efforts to shut down pill mills in Pinellas County.
