Case 1: ARMED ROBBERY

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office robbery detectives are investigating an armed robbery occurring on Wednesday June 18, 2008 at 1:45 am at the Steak 'n Shake on Tampa Road in Oldsmar. Detectives indicate the restaurant was closed, however a rear door had been propped open while rooftop kitchen vents were being cleaned. According to detectives, the suspects entered the business through the open door and brandished a handgun while ordering employees to the floor and demanding cash. The suspects then fled the location in a maroon minvian type vehicle with an undisclosed amount of cash. Suspect #1: black male, 28-35 yrs old, approx 5'10", has a close cut "fade" hair cut. Last seen wearing: white t-shirt, blue jean shorts, armed with a semi-automatic handgun. Suspect #2: black male, 30-35 yrs old, short hair, approx 5'6", approx 235 lbs. Last seen wearing: black t-shirt and blue jeans. INVESTIGATORS BELIEVE THESE TWO SUSPECTS MAY ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR AN ARMED ROBBERY OCCURRING A FEW DAYS EARLIER IN TAMPA POLICE DEPARTMENT'S JURISDICTION. INFORMATION VALID AS OF 6.20.08
