Crime Stoppers is a community-based
program involving
citizens, the media and law enforcement in the fight against
crime. Crime Stoppers operates on the principle that someone other than the
criminal has information that can solve a crime. You can remain anonymous
and you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1000 if your tip leads to an arrest.
In order to be eligible
for a Crime Stoppers reward, you must first call the tip information into the Crime
Stoppers tip line or report it online and be assigned a code number. It is
the responsibility of the tipster to keep the assigned code number for any future
contact. Tip information must be new and will be forwarded to law enforcement for
investigation.
