The Sheriff’s Advisory Board (SAB) is a civic organization composed of citizens that have interest in the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and law enforcement in general. Members meet on a monthly basis for breakfast to receive updates on agency functions and programs. The SAB also maintains its own programs to promote the agency and support local non-profits. Programs include the “Bright Star Deputy of the Quarter Awards” and Community Grant Program.

The SAB hosts two breakfast meetings per month per program year for convenience (September through April): the south county breakfast is held at the Sheriff’s Administration Building (10750 Ulmerton Road, Largo) on the first Thursday of the month and the north county breakfast is held at the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch (3180 Enterprise Road East, Safety Harbor) on the third Thursday of the month.
