The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is proud to offer online accident report retrieval.  Per Florida Statute, crash reports are only available to parties' of the crash, the parties' legal representatives, the parties' insurance agents, the State Attorney's Office, radio and television stations, newspapers or any state or federal agency authorized to have access.  If you do not meet this criteria, you are not entitled to the crash report until 60 days after the crash.  To retrieve a report, you will be required to enter the report number supplied by the Deputy at the scene, the date the crash occurred and the last name of a driver involved in the crash.

If you provide the correct information, you will be supplied with a link to download the crash report from our web site.  The report will be in TIFF format which is viewable in most web browsers.  You may save the file at no charge.  The TIFF file may be between 300-600K and several pages in length.  Depending on the speed of your internet connection, it may take a few minutes to download.  

This site only hosts reports investigated by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office after April 1, 2003.  Some reports may take several days or weeks before they are approved and entered into our records database.  Please check back for at least two weeks before contacting our records section.  If you need assistance, you may call our records section at (727) 582-6281.

REMEMBER:  All transactions are logged.  Attempts to unlawfully obtain a crash report will result in your IP address being banned from this site and you may face CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.  This is an official government Sheriff's Office web site and we WILL PROSECUTE.  You have been warned.
