What:
Detectives have arrested a Largo man for 12 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

When:
The suspect was arrested at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, located at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo.

Where:
The crimes occurred at Kolf’s residence of 14432 Hillview Drive in Largo.

Why/How:
After receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit began their investigation on July 18, 2019.

Through various investigative techniques they were able to identify the suspect as 30-year-old Christian Kolf.

On May 29, 2020, detectives questioned Kolf at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. During the interview, Kolf admitted to detectives he had downloaded the child pornography investigators had uncovered.

Kolf was arrested for 12 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.

The investigation continues.
