Why/How:
Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) investigate a crash that caused life threatening injuries to a motorcyclist in Seminole.

According to investigators, 62-year-old Guy Valois was operating his 2009 Suzuki VZR18 eastbound on Bay Pines Boulevard in Seminole. Investigators say as Valois approached 95th Street, he merged into the left turn lane in front of 9565 Bay Pines Boulevard. Valois then struck the median separating the turn lane from the left turn lane for 95th Street. The impact caused Valois to lose control of his motorcycle and was subsequently ejected.
