What: 
Deputies have arrested four people following a home invasion.

When:
The incident occurred at about 3:23 am on Thursday, July 28, 2016.

Where:
The incident occurred at 2081 N. Betty Lane, Clearwater, FL.

Why/How:
On July 28, 2016 at approximately 3:28 AM Pinellas County deputies arrived to 2081 N. Betty Lane in response to a home invasion call.  The residents at the home were sleeping when two of the suspects entered the home through a bedroom window and began beating up the victim.  When the father of the victim entered the bedroom, the suspects fled northbound on foot.

Deputies set up a perimeter and located two of the suspects.  A K-9 deputy was able to track and locate two more suspects.

The victim had minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.

The motive for this robbery appears to be related to drugs and money.

The investigation continues.
