What:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft shoplifting suspect who stole merchandise valued at a combined $800 dollars from two stores in Dunedin. 

When: 
The first theft occurred on Saturday, June 25, 2016 between 10:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

The second theft occurred on Saturday, June 25, 2016 between 11:00 a.m. and 11:42 a.m.

Where:
The first theft occurred at Palm Latitudes located at 340 Main Street, Dunedin.  The second theft occurred at My Favorite Things located at 330 Main Street, Dunedin.

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft shoplifting suspect who stole from two stores on Main Street in Dunedin.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the Palm Latitudes store located at 340 Main Street, Dunedin, on Saturday, June 25, 2016 between 10:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Once inside the store, the suspect was observed stealing a tray of toe rings valued at $500.

According to detectives, the suspect then entered My Favorite Things store located at 330 Main Street, Dunedin, on Saturday, June 25, 2016 between 11:00 a.m. and 11:42 a.m.  Once inside the store, the suspect was observed stealing multiple jewelry pieces valued at $300.

The suspect is described as an Asian Pacific female, approximately 50 – 60 years old, with brown hair pulled back in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, denim shorts, a brown wrist watch, glasses and flip-flops.
