Spaldi played a vital role in establishing the CRT as a professionally recognized unit, not only within the agency, but throughout Florida.  So much so, that numerous agencies throughout the state have trained with and participated in the Sheriff’s Office CRT academy to become certified in cell extractions and disturbance resolution tactics.  His unwavering determination, dedication, and leadership every day has proven extremely beneficial to members of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
