Deputies have advised that James Rodney Northcraft who went missing from the Safe Haven Assisted Living Facility in Seminole on Wednesday has been found safe in St. Petersburg.

What:
Deputies are requesting the public’s assistance to locate a man who went missing from a Seminole assisted living facility.

When:
The man left the assisted living facility at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

Where:
The man went missing from the Safe Haven Assisted Living Facility located at 9000 86th Avenue North in Seminole.

Why/How:
According to deputies, 69-year-old James Northcraft left the Assisted Living Facility in his wheelchair at about 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

On Friday, October 9, 2015, the administration of the facility reported him missing and told deputies that Northcraft usually leaves the facility for the day, but will return in the evening.

Deputies say Northcraft is considered endangered as he is diagnosed with Parkinson’s and does not have the medications he needs with him.

Northcraft was seen wearing a white shirt and possibly blue jeans.

Deputies say Northcraft was seen in the area of Starkey and 86th Avenue on Wednesday, October 7, 2015; and subsequently seen at the Bay Pines VA hospital on the  morning of Thursday, October 8, 2015.

Northcraft has been entered into FCIC/NCIC as missing and endangered.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Northcraft is asked to contact their local law enforcement.
