What:
Members of the Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post #900 will be recognized at an annual banquet for their accomplishments throughout the 2014-2015 year. The Sheriff’s Office instructors will also be recognized and thanked for their commitment to the program.

When:
The annual banquet will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. The awards presentations will begin at 7:00 p.m..

Where:
The event will take place at the Cafeteria/Banquet Room at the Pinellas County Justice Center at 14250 49th Street North in Clearwater.

Why/How:
The members of the Explorer Post 900 will be recognized in various categories to include: the Explorer of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Perfect Attendance Award, and Police Academy Award.

They will also receive awards for their accomplishments throughout the year in areas such as shooting, show, tenure, community service, law enforcement training, and scenario competitions.

Their successes at the Florida Association of Police Explorer’s State Competition and the National Law Enforcement Explorers Academy will also be acknowledged.

Explorer Post 900 currently has 41 members. The Explorer’s parents and family members have been invited to attend.
