What:
Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) are investigating a two vehicle crash in Treasure Island. The crash left three people injured and caused damage to property after one of the vehicles struck a porch and building.

When:
The crash occurred at about 9:39 p.m. on July 19, 2015.

Where:
The crash occurred at Gulf Boulevard and 125th Avenue in Treasure Island.

Why/How:
According to investigators, the Volkswagen, driven by 27-year-old Youseef Belhadt was traveling south on Gulf Boulevard when it struck the curb on the west side of Gulf Boulevard, lost control, crossed over to the northbound lanes and struck the Jeep Wrangler traveling north and driven by 40 year-old Kathryn Knoth on the driver side door.

Deputies say the Jeep rotated onto the curb and sidewalk on the east side of Gulf Boulevard and struck a wooden porch located at 12417 Gulf Boulevard.

Knoth was transported by ambulance to Bayfront Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries to the pelvis and femur.

Belhadt was transported by ambulance to Bayfront Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He sustained soft tissue damage and minor lacerations.

Bouhamidi was transported by ambulance to Bayfront Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries with a broken nose and minor lacerations.
